I have a soft spot for golden hour, the way my skin glows when the fading sun hits it just right or the way my clavicles pop just enough to highlight how slender my neck is. I never really enjoyed shooting at golden hour because I didn’t know how to do it properly – I still don’t but I’m having fun learning. I do however love, love, love how these photos turned out especially with all the factors working against me – rushing for a dinner apt, humidity thicker than my dang thighs ,losing light and yet we came out with some pretty solid photos if I do say so myself.
As for the dress, it was a spur of the moment decision. I was on my lunch break and walking down the main street in town and stumbled inside the Urban Outfitters (I have zero self control) and I saw this dress on the 40% additional off and well…I kept telling myself how cute it would look while on vacation and I was sold. Its a tad roomy in the chest area because I don’t have much of a chest but it hugs my curves just right and its the perfect summer dress that I’ll definitely get my cost per wear out of.
Happy Monday friends and I’ll chat with you later.
